Disneyland Paris adds jobs after being rescued by Alwaleed
Disneyland Paris added around 4,000 jobs after that it was rescued by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal last October where he agreed to join a €420 million ($532 million) bailout of the French theme park.
Alwaleed already was actually forced to be part of Dineyland Paris bailout to maintain his 10 percent stake in the company and his support was seen vital for the survival of the theme park.
The jobs recently added by Disneyland Paris were essential for the development of its newest attraction ride; the Ratatouille ride, that is based on the 2007 Disneyland Oscar-winning film.
The movie`s story was about a rat that had incredible cooking skills that managed to save a hopeless chef`s restaurant located in Paris.
Being one of the world`s richest people with a net a net worth of $31.2 billion, Alwaleed is a major reason behind a variety of mega projects and investments in Saudi Arabia and internationally.
