Airbus to alter A380 to win new clients
The huge European aircraft maker, Airbus, revealed that week that it will alter and created a stretched version of its latest A380 to expand its target customer and accordingly win new clients.
No further details were revealed except that such changes would not occur till next year after that a final clear decision is taken by Airbus executives.
"We will one day launch a 380neo, we will one day launch a stretch. This is so obvious there is extra potential," said Airbus finance director, Fabrice Bregier.
"We will get more customers," he added.
Airbus already delivered its second A380 to state-owned flag carrier of Qatar, Qatar Airways and to Dubai`s Emirates airline.
Around 68 Airbus A380s will be delivered to Emirates next year; 55 of which the total order of 140 will be delivered before the end of the year.
Emirates and Qatar Airways continue on leading the aviation market world and constantly competing for ongoing competitive edges while remaining Airbus major clients.
At 11:51 GMT Airbus Group (AIR) fell by 1.48% or 0.61 points to 40.71 in the French stock market.
