Etihad books hotel rooms for passengers due to severe fog
Abu Dhabi`s Etihad Airways yesterday booked more than 2,000 hotel rooms to accommodate passengers whom flights were disrupted by the severe fog at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Etihad Airways have also put in place extra staff to assist passengers and to restore its flight schedule to normal reflecting the unique devotion of the UAE airline to please and satisfy its clients regardless of any malfunction or natural incident.
Two months ago, Etihad Airways operated despite severe fog disruptions illustrating the efficient flexibility of the airline.
Etihad continues on expanding with new flights, routes and sponsorships as it is already Melbourne City Football Club, England Cricket Teams, Manchester City Football Club and many other teams in football and cricket.
Etihad`s stronger flights expansion in India will grant the airline company a stronger and firmer competitive advantage mainly against Emirates and Qatar Airways, as India is expected to become the third top largest air passenger market within the coming 20 years.
The airline is projected to grow in Europe as well after it purchased stakes in Aer Lingus, Air Serbia, Virgin Australia, Air Berlin, Air Seychelles and Jet Airways.
