New recruitment campaigns by Emirates and Etihad
More new recruitment campaigns are scheduled by UAE`s world leading airlines; Emirates and Etihad Airways in February and March to expand their workforce and cope with the ongoing worldwide demand of passengers on their aviation unique services.
Emirates scheduled recruitment campaigns events between February and March in Sri Lanka, Australia, India, Cairo, Sydney, Hong Kong, Kula Lampur, Paris and several other countries.
Through 2014 Emirates airways grew almost by 10% for the financial year ending March 31, with the addition of 24 aircrafts. The number of passengers at the Emirati airline also increased 13.1% with 44.5 million travelling with the airline.
As for Etihad Airways, the recruitment plan will collect CVs from five European capitals, starting with Kiev on February 11, London on February 15, Belgrade on February 16, Milan on February 22, and Rome on February 25.
As for the local scene in the UAE job applicants will have the opportunity to join the airline on recruitment campaigns held on 4, 11, 18, and 25 February.
Etihad Airways, it reported a 29% increase of its revenues to $1.8 billion for the third quarter of last year but seeks further productivity by this new collaboration after it faced a faster growth in passenger demand this summer and received three additional aircraft during the third quarter.
The recent focus on recruitment will allow a faster growth of Etiah Airways and Emirates on a local and global scale.
All in all this illustrates once again the ability the UAE to lead the world`s aviation sector along with other markets to relentlessly not rely on its oil revenue and contribute further to its GDP.
If truth be told aviation and related activities are expected to contribute around $53.1 billion or 37.5 percent to Dubai`s GDP in the year 2020 and support more than 754,500 jobs.
