Qatar Airways launches new daily flight to Singapore
Qatar Airways affirmed today that it will launch an additional daily flight to Singapore starting from April 16 this year, in a bid to cope with the ongoing increase in passenger demand.
New additional flights will be added later this year to the list by Qatar Airways to Singapore in June, July and August.
Qatar Airways has ordered 80 of the fuel-efficient Airbus A350s, making it Airbus major client and launch customer.
The Airbus A350 is the latest and most advanced jet created by the European aircraft manufacturer Airbus, and Qatar Airways ordered 80 to become the first airline owning the latest Airbus version.
On the EU stock market, Airbus Group (AIR) plunged 0.20% or 0.09 point to 47.09 at 14:31 GMT.
The race remains tight and Airbus is still behind Boeing, which reported total net orders between January and November of 1,031, the latter orders stood at 1,274 between January and December 02.
